Heard a fantastic guest minister preach at this packed traditional 1910 Calgary Beltline church Palm Sunday. Rev. Dr. Farris is in yyc until the end of June. The north parking lot across 15th Ave had room for us when we arrived 15 minutes early. A welcoming congregation, more diverse than I expected, lots of children. See website for Easter services.
Very nice church inside. Music sounded great during CPO's Christmas performance.
They have a thing for ringing their bell on sundays continuously which is extremely annoying and no one appreciates
Theyre connected to a denomination that prides itself in being anti-Israel(despite their justification for it), theyre biased and dont understand the Biblical and historical facts in regards to Israel and Palestine, nor can they see through the lies of Pallywood. They only want to blame Israel, and they dont like the facts as the facts prove them wrong. Theyre replacement covenantal theology goes against Scripture, and this fuels their stance on Israel. Then theres the issue of homosexuality.
