Incredible space for any type of art installation. Free entrance and awesome staff at all times. I wish Calgary had more venues like this one.

I've been to Esker 3 times since finding out about it on instagram. Each time I've brought a different friend with me because the experience is fantastic. The art is always cool, admission is free, and photography is allowed. Already planning to go when new exhibits arrive :)

This is a great place to visit and one of the hidden treasures of Calgary. Admission, underground parking, and coat check is all free (parking is validated at the end of your visit). It is located on the 4th floor; there is an elevator and a fully wheelchair accessible entrance and washroom.There is no permanent collection, so every time you visit it's different. The staff and super friendly and helpful. There a lot of space that is flexible to be used for audio, visual, and static works of art. The west side of the gallery houses a seating area with a small collection of books to peruse and large windows to offer a good view of the downtown skyline.

I love the Esker Foundation. It is a popular space that allows all kinds of artist to pose questions to those who may have never stepped into a gallery before. It's beautiful home in Inglewood is so welcoming and it adds to it's charm. I would highly recommend visiting the foundation. -The Esker Foundation is free to visit and boasts free heated underground parking to boot. Well worth the trip.

Really nice gallery set-up, but I was not a fan of the MC speaker. Art gallery like this one should have a public speaker with strong interactive and attention-capturing interpersonal skills.
