I go to Rustic about once a week for a quick lunch. The service is amazing! The girl... I believe her name is Paige... sees me come in and (as I am predictable) - grabs my fave croissant and warms it up without me even asking. They treat their regulars really well and their Spinach feta croissant is DELICOUS. Prices are excellent and they have a huge selection of things to try.
We had a couple of fantastic pastries here. The deli section and sandwiches remind me of Germany. There was good coffee and a table to relax and hide from cold weather. I am sorry this isn't my home town so that I could come in every week.
Highly recommend to give this bakery a try. The owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about heir products. Their custard cream for their cakes is perfect not too sweet and creamy. They offer a variety of products from imported goods, cheese and fresh baked goods. Bonus: they offer samples!

I decided to try this bakery as the Cobs in Signal Hill which is the bakery that I frequent was closed for renovations.I purchased a hearty grainy bread, a Muesli bread, a Cranberry pound cake and a apple danish.It was disappointing.The breads and pound cake were dry and the taste was below average.I didn't think after the first bite of each that it was good.The Cranberry pound cake was dry and when I sliced it there were no cranberries.The apple danish was fine though.The reason that I am giving it two stars instead of one was that the service was good
