Absolutely unreal sandwich for lunch, chicken melt. Ive honestly never had a better sandwich for lunch in my life. Affordable too! Then over to Phil and Sebastians for coffee in the same building. Awesome experience.
Popped in here for a weekend lunch and loved the atmosphere and the food! The staff were friendly and offered us a discount on a baked item we selected since it had a small defect on the icing. Excellent service! The building is also laid out in such a way that 3 different businesses can complement each other while running side by side. Definitely a place I will return to!
This is by far Calgary's best bakery! You can't go wrong with anything they offer. From various savoury and sweet baked goods, many kinds of delicious breads, and breakfast and lunch items. You can also order your Phil & Sebastian beverage at the same time for pickup at the coffee shop in the same building. So handy that you don't need to wait in line twice! My favourites are the croissants, scones and brownies, but everything is seriously delicious.
A great little local bakery in East Village! Definitely would recommend it if you are in the area. I always end up getting something to take home with me. Their cheese sticks are definitely one of my favourite things to buy! It also doesn't hurt that Phil and Sebastians is just on the other end of the same building!
The food and treats are to die for here. Go earlier in the AM when there are no lines, get the quiche (with meat) it's a cult dish, and a drink from Phil & Seb. Note: get the coffee from P&S first, then place your bakery order. Trust me. Find a seat inside or in the summer sit on their lovely patio, riverside. I only gave them a 4 because a couple times I waited for my quiche for a while and it still came cold. Also they are great for catering! Sandwiches, salads and cookies! Pop too!
