Excellent shop. Very good selection of old and brand new books. Convenient location where there aren't many options. Just recently discovered and looking forward to returning.
I only recently (within the last 2 years) got into comics. After visiting a few other shops in the city and not being treated all that well because Im a rookie, I gave Alpha Comics a try (surprisingly on the recommendation of one of those shops that didnt want to help me). Chris was very welcoming from day one and never made me feel like an imbecile because I had no idea what I was doing in this comic reading thing. No, he may not have the biggest selection in the city, but for me thats a small price to pay for the service that is received. And if he doesnt have something you want, he can usually order it in for you anyway.
Alpha comics is cool. I train next door and I the staff is cool and the set up of the store is cool.

Great comics shop. Was there 2 years ago to get back in to comics. Finally got back and will return. I remember the crash of early 90's. Nice to see these shops still around. Good job Chris!
