When we were going through a very difficult and tragic time Choice Memorial went above and beyond the call of duty. They were compassionate but efficient and helped us through all the details of getting our loved one's remains back to his home country. There were many complicated steps involved and plenty of paperwork but they got it all finished within our rushed time frame. They even dealt directly with the embassy. Further still, the price was much more reasonable than any other funeral home we found because Choice Memorial cares about helping people, not getting paid. We could not be more grateful.
My family dealt with great loss. We had few options but settled on Choice Memorial because of two reasons. Firstly, Teresa understood us like no other. Secondly, the place felt very cozy like home. It's a nice place (chapel holds around 70 people) just for the closest ones. Everyone in the funeral home was very compassionate to us. They helped us a lot. Highly recommend.
From the first phone call the service has been comforting and understanding. They respected all of our family wishes which were many. Throughout the process we had made many changes and they were extremely accommodating to each and every alteration. They were kind, gentle and informative. We lost our Father a couple of months ago and it was a devastating loss for our family. My mom spoke to probably every funeral home in our city and ended up settling on Choice Memorial. In our conversation, she said she wanted to choose Choice because the lady on the phone, Teresa, was so very kind and understanding and put her at ease. Their prices were affordable and their service above excellence. We have in the past with losses always used a popular choice in our city, and so were worried that they may not compare...but Choice literally blew them out of the water. The amount of compliments we had on the services, and even specifically on you, are too many to count! You displayed such kindness and emotion, we actually felt you were part of our family. Honestly, I really have no words that will ever be able to thank you, so Ill stick with a loaded thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your services helped bring us a sense of peace and that is something we can never repay. After the funeral, Teresa and Lisa have helped me on a weekly basis with ordering keepsake jewellery for my children to help them cope with the loss, have checked in on our family, and they have gone above and beyond in every detail imaginable.
