Good, modest place with good food. Prices are great for lunch. Big portions. Great service. A good place all around.
We happened upon this place Friday on our way to Edmonton after a quick errand in downtown Calgary and the chicken tikka was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Samosas were very good too. Everything was obviously homemade and fresh. Will definitely stop in again.
ordered their dinner for two. instead of samosas? they sent me 10 cents worth of lettuce and a rotten slice of radish. with no dressing either. uuuuh thats not even comparable value. plus if they had informed me they planned this substitute? i would have canceled the whole order. disgusting and an insult to the customer. i definitely got a refund from skip.
There is a new lady, im not sure she is the owner or just a worker there but her customer service is garbage. I think if this little restaurant want to have the business run smoothly, that lady needs to be fired. So poor customer service, she just cares about tip.
What happened to this place ?! This used to be my go to spot in downtown. The ownership looks to be new. The portions have been DRASTICALLY reduced and the quality is simply not there. The butter chicken is watery, the Tikka is dry and bland. The naan may have been the only redeeming item. The quality, the setting, and the service simply do not justify the price. A major disappointment.
