Love the community but not the high rent.
Do not rent or own! I have lived in my unit for a year. They were notified in November of 2016 that there was water damaged coming in from the rotten roof. I fought and waited until April of this year. The above pictures are from the walls under the said roof. If I had not taken it upon myself to remove the drywall, the mold would still be growing. I am a single mom of a two and three year old. I was relocated to this unit after the unit I first rented in July of 2016 was deemed unfit by their own maintenance staff. I just met the new Cove Representative, and to say that he was arrogant would be to nice. He demeaned me, and put the blame at my feet. Then when i was visibly upset leaned down into my face and asked "If there was something wrong with me" . Before smiling and texting on his phone. Completely NO accountability or even a decent human being/owner. Absolutely disgusted with this place and the choices I made to stay and make it work.
Wish i have never moved here. Lot rent is bad enough, but I have caught the new manager chatting up my teenage daughter a few times. I expect we will lose our money to leave here as all our neighbours have, but my families safety is more important. They are full of promises when you buy, but there isnt even play ground equipment. Doesnt matter anyway as so many people are renting rooms out to druggies to make the rediculious lot rent. It will take us years to recover from being here, but our kids future is more important. I can't warn anyone enough to stay away from this this.
Remax came to our home today and told us that because of the lot rent we wont get any more than $8500 for our trailer. I called Century 21 and a few other realtors and the answer was the same. Remax has to list my trailer by law but everyone else said no. Who in their right mind would pay $35,000 for a home to get told its only worth $8500 just three years after buying it just because of the rent for a stupid piece of land.How can you rent a place for $1100 and have to pay $1100 just for a piece of land?These american owners can go back where they came from and Nenshi doesnt care. To him its moretaxes regardless that people are being screwed over by these rich bastards!
$1,025 for lot rent. They dont clean the streets, they dont keep up with the roads (theyll patch it, but they wont even anything out) they dont replace the street lights. They dont care about the people that live in this park. They verbally abuse the seniors and the disabled in this park. They dont care about you or what is happening in your live. Typical Americans. They recently installed lights at the front of the park and they are so bright that they blind you as you come into the park. You ask the front desk a question and they dont answer you. They just tell you whats wrong with you and tell you to leave. Ive never met such rude people before. And I work in retail. And thats saying something. DONT LIVE HERE!!!
