This place is like a ghost town. The construction fences outside make it uncomfortable to visit.I remember one time I got off at the wrong bus stop and was walking around aimlessly trying to figure out if there was some entrance within the fence to get into the actual mall, until I found the back entrance. But who goes into the back door? Is that just REALLY awkward or what?I only found out on the next bus ride that I was supposed to get off at the stop a little further up ahead, after seeing a lady get off there.I remember a decade ago, when I first moved here: there was still a Cheesecake Cafe location. The immediate area is unrecognizable and I can't even see where the restaurant used to be, with all of the construction...This place is just NOT the same!!!
so this is a nice little mall with some decent shops in it but they can't seem to decide if they're coming or going the parking has been tore up for a long time. as I said though there is some decent shops in here worth investigating with some good prices food court usual things that I'm all needs.
The place you go when life doesn't matter anymore and you need a really low quality pick me up. Nice lingerie store and classic food court. No frills.
Really nothing great to do here. It needs to be brought up to date. If you need fabric land it's there but you won't really find any stores the other malls have and 60% of them are closed. Oh and there's one guy who panhandle's in the mall! I've seen him on all 3 of my visits.
While it has many vacancies and is considered 'dated', I have many fond childhood memories of this mall. I'm probably in the small minority of people who actually prefer the decor of the mall, especially compared to the blandness of Chinooks recent renos. It's got a lot of vintage character and the stores are also very special. The upkeep is great, it's very clean and the floors and walls are still spotless. It's popular among seniors due to it's senior perks, but it's also well suited to families as there is ample room for kids to run about.
