Im a season ticket holder for many years now. I love the atmosphere and the stadium is still nice. Could use a new one sometime soon. But still nothing really bad to say. Beverages are priced high in my opinion. But other than that fun times
Loved being here. It is an older stadium so a lot of stairs. Was the first time there for a game as live in Winnipeg. The fans were amazing and friendly. Very helpful when asked questions.
McMahon Stadium is an okay spot to check out a football game. Ive been to a few different stadiums over the years and I have to say nothing really stands out about this place. Theres enough seating for most games. The field screen is big and clear and the audio is good. Theres not really any seats that you can get that have blocked vision. Sadly though McMahon Stadium is old and you can really start to tell. They do an okay job keeping up maintenance but its dated for sure. The final thing that I dont like about this place are the prices. Theyre so ridiculously high for everything. Most of the vendors dont take credit/debit card either and youre stuck using cash from white label ATM machines that also charge a fee. If there were more options for football stadiums I wouldnt choose here. Unfortunately there arent more options so were stuck.
This stadium is not worthy of housing any professional sports team of any kind. In fact, charging people to enter this decrepit old stadium is an insult. Before transplanting to Calgary, I grew up in Edmonton, so I am an Eskimos fan born and raised, but even I can't help but feel awful for the Stamps players and their fans for this insult. I mean I get that the CFL is not the most profitable league to own a team, but this stadium should have been torn down and replaced years ago. I can't believe the City of Calgary is seriously discussing putting in a bid for the winter Olympics when they won't even entertain the idea of tossing in for a portion of a new stadium/rink? The Stamps are defending Grey Cup Champs! They are serious contenders year after year. This crumbling old building is where they have to call home??? I paid $100+ per ticket to take my son to see the Labour Day Classic this year. I was greeted by a run down, ugly old building that looks like it could crumble to the ground at any moment. This is not a knock on the staff, volunteers, team or anyone we seen at the game. Everyone was friendly, no complaints there. But the building is disgusting. The 20 odd porta-johns are an insult. Good game. Good team. Great staff. Great fans. Reward them with the stadium they deserve. Until then, I will never be back.
It was a amazing game! Calgary vs Toronto! Really good game! The place I love it! Good organization and security personal!
