Buyer bewareHave normally had very good experiences with this vet clinic but recently some staffing changes have made the visits less about the animals and more about money. It seems owning a pet is more about an opportunity to cash in. Puppies can be expensive as it is, however within the first 6 months count on the average visit to be no less than $150+ per. Shop around is my suggestion and get the financial information before committing. The new alarming trend is the hard sell to get pet "insurance" and a number of vet clinics have either been absorbed by a larger corporation to sell this mandate as it cleans up the bottom line. Other independent clinics have also adopted this practice. This clinic will make you feel "less" for opting out of the insurance option and charge you accordingly. Good business is founded on solid values, not financial strategies.

I had to bring my cat, Tiger, in because he got into some medical marijuana brownie remnants in the sink, and the office said I might have to wait a few hours for them to call back, as all their appointments were booked for the day, and they'd have to squeeze him in sometime in between. As I was filling out the paperwork, someone else called to say they were running a bit late for their own pet's big day (must have been a surgery or something), and the kind ladies offered to look at Tiger right then. I am very grateful to everyone in the office for being kind, understanding, and non-judgmental, and for doing everything they could to calm my cat down, and to reassure me that my visit wasn't pointless, even though they said he looked like he was recovering fine. Thank you so much for being such an awesome team! My cat and I both appreciate you all very much!

Catherine Miller and her team are compassionate and analytical - not an easy combination. I recommend them without hesitation!

Honestly so ridiculous that a dog need an exam just to buy standard dewormer. Not only can you walk into a rural vet and buy it with no issues, even people don't require a fecal exam to get a prescription for dewormer. Completely lacking common sense! Talk about a money grab!

Dr. Miller and her staff are very knowledgeable and over the years have shown such love for all pets.
