We needed dairy free cupcakes for the next day and called these guys hopeful, but doubting we'd be able to order specialty for the next day. Not only were they able to accommodate, but they were some of the best cupcakes I've ever had. Our team was raving about how delicious they were. You could never tell that they were dairy free. The chocolate was good, but the raspberry icing was outstanding. You could taste the real puree in it.
I tried a gluten-free/dairy-free cake and it was insanely dry and mealy. On a separate occasion, I tried a regular chocolate cake and it was not much better. It's still very dry and the ganache was too sweet. Both cakes looked like it was made by home bakers and didn't look very professional.
I recently ordered a strawberry shortcake that was dairy/gluten free for a wedding I was attending. I have to say it was absolutely delicious. It looked amazing to start with and it tasted even better. Friendly staff and amazing service. I would highly recommend this bakery for your dietary restrictions :)
I love stopping by Amandine at the weekend for breakfast pastries. They have a great selection for not much more than you'd pay at the supermarket. There's always a parking spot and never a queue on a Saturday morning. Highly recommend supporting this friendly local business.
