The staff were super friendly but the work was questionable. I did a filling and I ended up losing taste on the right side of my tongue. I called them and the lady on the phone told me that it was normal and to wait a week and call back if I didnt get it back. I waited three to four weeks and still nothing happened so I called back yesterday. It took awhile to get a hold of them and when I finally did, while I was explaining my situation the line magically dropped. I tried calling back and no answer, they didnt even bother to call me back even though they had my information. I didnt even get the opportunity to ask them for my x-rays because I am pretty sure they worked on the wrong tooth. To add to it all they didnt bother to tell me that my benefits had run out before doing the filling. My benefits renew in a month so I could have waited, instead I was left paying more out of pocket for a job badly done...anyways if you like the taste of food go see a professional.
I had gone here for a while however, when a tooth died, the doctor suggested a crown. After a month of running around, over $2000 and extra work on my end I learned that because the tooth was whole and completely undamaged, I didn't need a crown. Just a root canal and some whitening agents inserted into the tooth. The doctor here was overzealous in suggesting this blanket solution and she didn't take the time to think whether or not it was the best decision for me. Her inexperience is showing and I can't say I'm super pleased with the result. It's hard to tell when they are for profit companies and not part of the healthcare system. I don't think dentists have to take the Hippocratic Oath, which means they only serve the all mighty dollar. I suggest getting a second or third opinion before dropping a large amount of money on a procedure that might end up being unnecessary.
I never used to look forward to getting my teeth cleaned... Until I started coming to University Dental Choice 2 years ago. The staff here are gentle and polite, not to mention professional and knowledgeable. My teeth look and feel amazing after every visit. Ask for Jade, the best hygienist.
