Very small waiting room - they don't want you to wait in the hallways :S They have a little children's table with some toys and colouring. On the plus side there is a Tim Horton's downstairs. Wish we had access to this service in Regina, SK. Travelled from 8 hours away to find out we were not on 'the list' for our previously twice confirmed appointment. We did get in just 10 minutes after our appointment time, so that's good!Very comfy chairs in the board room!All in all we did what we came to do - Mexican birth certificate with CURP for our little boy - success!
No help at all. Just told to go to the website, and the concerns were unknown and/or not of possible solution or even answer. And they only work 4 hrs a day. 8:30 to 12:30. No weekends. Useless waste of Mexico's people tax money.

Thank goodness for the Mexican Consulate, especially Lina, but all of the employees were very helpful. We were desperate and under the wire with our closing date and we had already left Mexico so we were stuck...fly back or ask them for help. At first, because they are so busy, it would have taken at least a week for us to get an appointment but after explaining our situation they graciously set up a much earlier appointment. We went in and they had our paperwork ready for us before we even left the office. They insisted we had an interpreter because these are very important documents and I am happy they did because legal language is difficult enough in our own language. They were very patient and explained everything thoroughly to my elderly father and I really appreciated that. Thanks again to all the staff who went out of their way to help us. Even though they are the only Mexican Consulate here in Calgary, I would definitely recommend them if they weren't. Great job and I can't thank you all enough. Lise Blanchard, Calgary, Alberta
