I love Nandos chicken so much and the fries! But I wasnt happy about their service. First person who helped us for our sits wasnt happy when I requested to bring us to other table because it was too bright. He never checked if we are doing good and never smile to me the whole time we were there. Saw him checking the other table if they are doing good but he will passed us but just look at me and never smile. Second, when I was about to place my order, I was standing there for almost 5 minutes and I am the only customer that was waiting for someone to take my order. Couple of people saw me already standing and didnt even bother saying, Will be right with you shortly. There was nothing like that.I worked in a customer service too and I do not like it when someone doesnt provide good customer service. You gotta give good customer service or else customer will remember how they get treated. Ive seen racism as well. Not good at all.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Calgary, and the prices are quite reasonable. It is also a pleasant environment. I especially like it because they have many gluten-free options on their menu.
Got the portobello mushroom wrap and it was delicious, love how neatly wrapped it was too. It's not too pricey here and the place is kept clean and tidy. The food does take a longer time to come out than what I expected though. Otherwise it's a good restaurant for a casual meal.
Our first time at Nando's was not a great experience or what we were expecting at all.We went there to celebrate a birthday, the host took us to our table, he didn't ask if we had been there before or how their system for placing an order works. To start with, my chair had a broken leg, when I requested another chair because mine was broken, he pointed at the high chairs on the side of the wall. I had to go to get another chair from an empty table while placing the broken chair to the side so that nobody else could use it. Then we had to figure out how their system works and lined up to place our order. We didn't noticed the tables had numbers and I had to go back to check the number on our table in order for someone to bring our food.After over an hour of dinking around we finally got our food and kept reminding the server what we had ordered and what we were missing!Not only that, but we all got sick from eating there!Management: Instruct your staff to smile and greet the customers, to take them to their table and ask them if they had visited before and how to place an order. The staff at the counter is also very disorganized and if the line up gets too long, there should be another register open, waiting 30 minutes in line to order and another 30 minutes to be served is simply unacceptable.Very disorganized and unprofessional.
Really good chicken.That's the name of their game. If you love chicken and want to have a variety of chicken based dishes to choose from, this is the place to be. The sides are absolutely phenomenal too. My only gripe is that their hottest option wasn't hot enough for me, but that's obviously going to be different from person to person. Overall, really good chicken and a good place to spend time with good friends.
