Very much recommended. Charles + Toby and the rest of the team were great to work with. Everything was done in a day (packing and moving). And the guys didn't leave until the job was done. No scratches or damages done to the house or furniture. Thank you for making our move super smooth!
Joseph and Essan just left my new place. They were on time, very careful with all my things, and couldn't be more courteous. Very professional and kind young men. They even wrapped everything with blankets and packing tape, which I never expected or asked for. They did it all on the spot and moved me from my two-bedroom downtown to Sherwood in the NW during rush hour. Whole thing took exactly 4 hours, including the packing, driving, and unpacking. What a couple of great guys. Cheers boys, keep driving safely.
This the second time within a year that we have hired Calgary Pro Movers and each time working with Charles has been excellent. The movers were always on time, very professional and real nice and friendly people to work with. They were very considerate of our belongings. We also had them store our furniture for short period of time and they delivered the furniture on time and no damage. I would definitely recommend their services.
We selected Calgary Pro Movers based upon all the great online reviews. What a mistake! Moving day was a total disaster- I will share the top 3 issues we had (but there were many more).1. I called Charles early in the week before moving day to make sure they were going to send a big enough truck; although we were moving out of a 3 bedroom, we have more stuff than an average 3 bedroom. "No problem!" Of course the truck they sent was no where big enough and they had to make 2 trips. Of course the clock was running the entire time and this added at least 2 hours to the move.2. We specifically asked for furniture disassembly and reassembly at the new house. "No problem!". The guys showed up without tools. What kind of movers don't have a tool kit? I should have stopped it right there. So our first job when the guys showed up was opening up boxes to find my tools so they could take apart furniture. We couldn't find all the tools that were needed. In addition to all the extra time it took to take apart beds/desks/tables without proper tools (the clock is always running)- it wasn't done properly. Lots of stripped screws, and I've had to redo all the reassembly myself- everything was wobbly.3. Part of the reason we selected these guys was that they included a piano moving service. They don't have any piano moving gear (like a dolly). For $150 dollars extra we had the pleasure of watching these guys badly damage our antique upright Steinway. At one point they had it ON ITS SIDE and dragged it across our front entryway on wooden skids. They snapped the pedals off.The were rude, unprofessional, and didn't do anything to remedy any of the obvious deficiencies of the service they provided. Stay away from Calgary Pro Movers!
I would highly recommend Calgary Professional Movers. I used them for a move at my job. We were renovating the offices downstairs and I had to get five proposal on movers. Calgary Professional Movers was very reasonable and came recommended by a co-worker. I selected Calgary Pro Movers and was extremely happy with their services. They did more then I originally asked for and never complained. Nothing was broken or even scratched during the move. The movers are all so kind, friendly and very fast. This is a GREAT MOVING COMPANY and you will be completely satisfied with them....I was surprised by how fast they moved everything and how easy the move went...no stress at all...... I ended up using them three more times! The owner Charles he is a great and and amazing guy! THANK YOU Calgary Professional Movers for having such great service and movers!
