Great way to spend a few hours with family visiting from Europe. Proud history we have. Well maintained exhibits worth while going for
Fun way to spend Fathers Day. Wheels and wings and the beautiful sunshine. Saw some great old cars and planes. Took a tour of the Lancaster bomber and went for a helicopter ride too. Only complaint was from my son who was hoping for some die cast models in the gift shop.
Great spot in Calgary to learn some history, see some cool planes, and be around a lot of aviation enthusiasts.Would be great if they had more displays that one could sit in and experience aviation, especially for the kids. Maybe one day.
such an amazing place to visit, and to see all the civilian and military planes up close !I especially liked walking up on the 2nd floor, and seeing both the engines, as well as all the planes from above.if possible, I would encourage you to see the planes in the hanger next door to the main museum, there are a couple which you can see the insides !
