I came here to get the address again to cancel an alarm permit and saw the bad reviews. Funny, because I too had horrible customer service earlier this year when I went there to report drug activity in my neighbourhood (complete with video). All I got was rude attitude and a "call someone else it's not my department line." I left feeling why would you bother to try to be a good citizen when these rude people make you regret walking in the door? Horrible experience. CPS standards have sure gone downhill. So sad.Google won't allow posts of less than one star, but it's zero stars.
I came in to file a hit and run report and the young female officer assisting me was very kind and helpful. However, while I was writing my report and older asian couple with poor english skills came in and were assisted by the Sergeant who was extremely rude and short with them. I was actually taken aback by how unprofessional he was. Hopefully he doesn't wear off on the younger staff.
The guy at the front desk (non-uniform) is arrogant, rude, and has no business working with human beings or the general public until he gets his power trip and attitude under control. I'm just an average law abiding, friendly neighbor from Coventry. I only went to the police station to ask 3 very simple questions regarding ordering a background check for volunteer work. SIMPLE QUESTIONS!1- I have 2 addresses. One with my parents in Calgary, one on my own. Can I order a background check here or do I need to go to my "mailing address city? 2- How long does the process take?3- Do you take credit or debit for the 30$ cost?SIMPLE QUESTIONS....right?No.Instead this guy want to be a JERK. He decided to be condescending and tell me that I'm not at the post office and it's not a place where I can just make orders. (Actually, for this one thing...yeah it is.)I waited in a queue when the place is empty. I asked these questions clearly and politely. After going through the application with me, he can't figure out how to enter a non-Calgary address. At this point he tells me, I'm probably not applying at the right city. He goes to talk to a uniform cadet, comes back to tell me ... "Your address doesn't work, so you can't apply here." To the Front Desk Jerk at the Coventry Police Station: Thank you for treating me like I wasted your time because you are ABSOLUTELY terrible at your job. Please quit immediately. Go home and feel like the terrible person you are. Get a job where you can work from home so nobody has to be forced to interact with your miserable personage anymore. You don't deserve to be on a power trip, so just stop being a JERK. We are your neighbors and employers. Your job is to HELP your local citizens, not treat them lesser forms of life.
Came in for a back ground check for a new job. Was a little busy but didnt have to wait long and everybody was super helpful and friendly
This location helped me alot from getting interview statements and picking up documents. Police staff were friendly and courteous. Parking was fair although one can park across near the library. There can be slight delays if there is a line or if a fire truck is leaving the vicinity. Clean place.
