I have used the underpass at Macleod and Glenmore for the last 3 years in the last 4 months more and more homeless and drug user's were living there. Last month I put in a complaint about 3 weeks ago I was walking down the ram at 2:30 pm and I woman was at the bottom and looked around the corner show the people in the tunnel and came back up saw me and asked if I would walk with here though the tunnel because the people there scared her. I walked her though. I was also getting worried walking through it. I am 6' 200 pounds but I was worried about walking pass them when they were smoking on their pipe. You do not know what they will do. So I understand why this young woman was scared at 2:30 pm. that is just not right. So I filed a complaint about this. About 4 weeks ago. I just want to say thanks to the police officer's for making the underpass safer. It did take about a week but it was cleaned up I use this twice a day 5 days a week the last 3 weeks there has been a few times they were down there, only a few. You can not expect police there all the time but it is obvious that they are going down there and making sure it is safe for us. Just want to say thanks for doing a great job.
