This location has some good produce and it isn't too busy during the weekdays. It definitely picks up on the weekends and after work. The service is great and staff are very friendly. The only drawback is the meat quality is not the greatest. You can get better meat sometimes from Superstore. However the location is easily accessible.
A convenient store to get food essentials. Usually nice and quick in and out.Careful - They've starting putting stink on their bags so that can taint any loose produce.
Quality of produce used to be hit and miss but it has really improved over the past few years. Meat section is small but good with a good-sized frozen seafood section for a store its size plus extensive frozen food section and excellent service from pretty much every cashier I've had there over the past few years.
Good store, always fresh produce, easy to find what you need. Great cheese counter and deli. I couldn't reach something on a dairy shelf and one of the managers came to help me and cracked jokes the whole time . Never have to wait in line at this store which is a bonus - they always open more lanes if needed. When I stopped this time, they had a small garden center set up by the doors. It's from near Strathmore and the baskets were amazing! Also had vegetables and herbs and decent prices. The gentleman even helped me carry my plants to my car... Awesome service.
I love this Sobeys. They always have fresh fruits and vegetables and their multi grain bakery bread is delicious. My son loves their kids cookies to enjoy while shopping, though they have gotten a lot smaller recently.
