I adopted a cat from the Calgary Humane Society and brought the kitty in for a vet check up. My kitty was very nervous as he had been abandoned twice and hated being in his carrier. The receptionists offered to put us in a room right away so he could get out of the carrier! Joe was absolutely fantastic! He answered all of my questions and took the time to get to know me and my cat. I never felt rushed. The receptionists are also amazing. They go above and beyond and do whatever they can to help. I called in regarding a concern/question and Joe called me back the next morning and answered all of my questions. I love my little cat a lot, he is part of the family and I probably worry too much, but they are very understanding which I greatly appreciate!They are a very caring vet clinic and I wont be going anywhere else. :)
I brought my 6 year old cat to the Animal Clinic this year after getting a recommendation from a friend. (I had previously tried making an appointment at a different clinic closer to my home and was hung up on after telling them she hadnt had a vaccine in a few years). Everyone at the Animal Clinic was great! They were very helpful, super polite, and they were amazing with my cat. She was purring the entire time! The doctor made several recommendations that addressed my concerns but was not pushy at all, it was a great experience! :)
Incredible support for our pet dog (and her family!) Friendly and informed staff. Dr Joe is fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone looking for caring and competent support for their pet.
For years, I looked for a good animal clinic, and couldn't find one. Then I tried the Animal Clinic on 9th Avenue SW, and I am very happy I did. Dr. Waldman is very good and obviously really cares about animals. I was worried that he would suggest numerous unnecessary tests as has been my experience at other clinics, but that has not happened. I have been taking my pets there for nearly two years and have been very satisfied with this clinic.
Best vet in Calgary. Always responsive and caring. We have had 3 dogs now and have gone out of our way to see Joe and his staff since 2003. Cannot say enough positives about the 9th avenue vet clinic.
