This review is a year late but I want to say how incredibly caring, sensitive and compassionate Dr Dekens, Dr Kay and the team at Montgomery Village Vet Clinic are. We had to put our cat Scotchy down a year ago and Dr Dekens came to our home to perform the service. He was so caring, kind and gentle with my daughter and was truly amazing in how much time he took in walking us through all of it. I was again reminded how amazing you all are yesterday when you saw my other cat Reynard for an injury that got infected. You were able to get us in the same day I called. Dr Kay was incredible, thorough and took care of him with such kindness and compassion. I have been a pet owner for over 18 years and taken my pets to various clinics but I haven't experienced the service, attention, level of care and compassion that I have at Montgomery Village Vet Clinic.
We love them. Katie the tech is incredibly knowledgable. I'm as confident discussing issues with her as with the Vets. Finally a vet we trust and really believe cares about our 2 Savannah cats.
excellent service, and very professional service. no unnecessary extras, or costly services pushed. very flexible, great recommendations, and explanations provided as options. excellent communication with my dog. the vet (doctor Kay) gets on the mat on the floor, with my pup, and explained what she was doing as she did her examination. my puppy loves going here.
The first time I came here with my dog, the vet and staff spent a ton of time just warming up to my dog, and earning her trust. They had amazing 'bedside' manner and professionalism - and are very supportive in alternative medicine and raw food diet (if that is your choice). The difference with this clinic versus many others is that they understand that your dog is part of the family. Despite the drive from my house, I will keep coming back here and supporting this business. As for pricing .. I'd say these guys are aligned to Calgary vet pricing.
We needed this vet's "house-call euthanasia" service at very short notice. The receptionist and the vet who visited (Dr Andrea) displayed incredible compassion and empathy. They worked hard to accommodate our needs. They also partner with Pet Heaven for cremation services. Their prices are "standard" and they can also offer varying levels of service to help meet your budget. Highly recommended if you need their services during a very difficult time.
