Wonderful amusement park for kids of all ages. Lots of rides for the little ones, fun games, and lots of food vendors. I highly recommend this as a terrific family outing. It does seem strange to charge all the adults (and it is fairly pricey) when the adults are really only there as caregivers/supervisors, not enjoying the rides themselves. Other than that, no complaint and high praise!
Calaway Park has really upped their game with lots of new and good rides. Their parent swap program is also amazing for when you're dealing with a kid too small for the rides. All staff were super nice and the park was clean and looked well maintained. Admission is expensive but coupons are readily available. I recommend you seek out coupons since it was 100 bucks even for just four of us!
This was my first trip to Calaway Park and it was a blast. Even though it was the long weekend the lines werent super long. We brought my 2 year old and she was able to get on to 11 rides. For the price (you can always find a coupon) I thought I was very well worth it. I appreciate that the parking is free and I think its great that it is student run. All the staff were really friendly and had safety as a priority! The bathrooms were very clean and they were spread out perfectly around the park. I didnt try any of the food but there seemed to be a lot of options!
I give 5 stars to rides staff!Today I brought my 8 and 2y.o. kids. I liked to see the staff being very open and helpful, following the safety code of practice plus trying to do their best to help clients to be happy. Well done team!!!I do want to say that additional charges to games do annoy me, first for the reason that admission is very high already, second that only cash is accepted. But staff there is friendly. One thing my family and friend's family who we came with would love to see as an addition to Horror Hotel place is- room of laughterOr something like this.To me and my kids horror place wasn't scary which is good but also was simply boring, but kid's curiosity still brought them to see that hotel for few times in a row to find at least something interesting. So how about giving curiosity a positive "food" rather then trying to scare them?!It would be amazing if you add itWe very hope to visit you next year and see happy changesOne more thing to appreciate:Movie theatre included in admission - great!Choice of movie - 20 minutes professionally shorten version of Son of Bigfoot- Thank you!We loved these 20minutes- we relaxed after 3.5 hours in rides and got more power for more rides
A great spot for a day of family fun! Our 4 and 6 year old were both able to enjoy a large selection of rides. Bathrooms were clean and no line ups, in spite of being a very busy day at the park. Buy tickets online ahead of time to avoid having to wait in a massive line up to get into the park. Will definitely return.
