It was a beautiful hot day to be there.However a very large summer camp group showed up and it became crazy. Very hard to keep track of kids.
Great splash park for little kids on a hot day! My 2 year old niece loved it! There is washrooms, outdoor showers, an attendant (not a life guard) with a first aid kit, a picnic table, sun spots and (a few) shade spots. A range of fountains to play in (depending if you are looking to get a little wet or a lot wet). It is also one of the city's accessible splash parks, where you can get a water proof wheelchair.
A great place to bring the family. Great open areas for dogs and/or to run around (also off leash area). Water park for younger kids. Play park for younger and older kids. Plus a great view of downtown.Plus, a change room and washroom. There is also, a tennis club in the middle. Probably members only however, it is there.
The splash area fills up quickly. So get there early to claim a spot. There is a fence that surrounds the area and attached is a couple of jungle gyms. Gravel is the media for the playground so crocs are not the optimal footwear.
Beautiful, clean splash park. There's a playground on the West side of the building in the background. Can't wait to spend summers here with our daughter!
