We had a great time. They provided a good table service. The food was good as well. I appreciate the fact they do not blast loud music like so many places do.
We came to Briggs on recommendation from friends and found the atmosphere quite nice. The service was also quite good. However the 48oz rib eye for 100 dollars was pretty underwhelming. We ordered it thinking 3 people could share it since its 48Oz, but it was barely enough for two. The taste was quite good and overall I would come back, but not for the "48oz" rib eye
Great service: friendly & efficient from the hosts greeting you at the door to the table service staff. Nice long spacious tables for large groups and a private dining room for special bookings. Other than a few stairs outside the entrance, the restaurant was very easy to get around for a person with walking with a cane. Sliders were good but just slightly dry. Our waiter did mention we could have asked for more sauce - I'll keep that in mind for next time. Salads were very nice: fresh and flavourful. My friend loved his steak (blue). Mine was ok (medium). I should have maybe tried the steak our waiter recommended but that one was $99 and 28oz or something huge close to that. I can barely finish a 8oz on a starving day. But...If I can get another friend or 2 to join me for another meal, I'd definitely give it a try. Nice place to visit with an old friend. We stayed til closing.
I dont often write reviews, but for this place I will make an exception. I was here with a large group last night. Even though our group was larger than the reservation they found ways to accommodate us, and the fellow who served us was on the ball with ensuring my water was never empty and I never had dirty plates or empty cocktail glasses in front of me. Despite the fact there were a dozen or more separate bills, everything was accurate.I had the brisket tacos. They were super awesome and they arent stingy with the protein which is refreshing in a world where restaurant tacos usually are 80% veggies.
I used to go to Briggs regularly but stopped for some reason. Returned there Thursday night and it doesn't seem to have changed. The atmosphere is still fantastic! The food is generally really good, though I've had a couple of meals in past that were only just okay. Thursday's staff were great, though I have had some less friendly staff in the past. I plan to return.
