Great Food and Service Downtown Calgary location always provides great value to price and excellent service. We are repeat cuatomers to this location and have always had an experience where we say "we need to come here more often". Most recent family gathering at the Keg was to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday where steaks and libations was had by all. We left extremely full after dining on perfectly prepared beef entr.
I was in Calgary on business, and decided to try the Keg. It was a nice summer evening so I opted for the Patio. The restaurant was extremely popular and seemed to be hosting a wide variety of different groups.I had the half rack of ribs for my main course and cheesecake for dessert. I cant pick a highlight as both courses were flawless. The complimentary bread was also very nice.Service here was amazing, about the best Ive had anywhere. The waitress (Taylor) asked where I was from, when I told her that it was my first time in Calgary, she apparently told the manager who promptly took the price of my dessert off the bill. Great food, great hospitality and a nice warm summers day on the Patio. Highly recommended. Try it out if you visit Calgary.
Went here for this first time for a friends birthday party and gotta say was not disappointed at all. Our waiter who was helping our side 8+people was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back just because the service was great.
Great place for steak, ordered New York striploin medium rare. It was cooked precisely. No sauce provided but it was not needed. Reasonable prices for steak since theyre usually more expensive at a steakhouse. Billy miner pie was $6.00 and they gave a generous portion.
My steak was perfect. Service was perfect. Atmosphere was perfect. BUT ,they gave me a stupid disgusting paper straw with my diet coke. We live Alberta. Straws here are not end up in the ocean.I will choose another restaurant that will give me a straw. yes its a big deal to me :)
