Hello everyone,Our class from Reeves College went to Phil & Sebastian's for a coffee tour. I have to say it was very informative and aromatic. I never realized the depth and variety of coffee flavors and to know that everything is done with people in mind (dealing ethically with farmers, providing the best to the customers and donating to the drop in center) made me very proud of this coffee company. Thank you Phil & Sebastian. You have made me want to take up drinking coffee again.
Ill always buy their coffee for home use and I think they make fantastic macchiatos and pour-overs, but it seems that almost every time I come here the staff are annoyed and impatient. When theyre understaffed they dont make anything but drip coffees apparently, which can happen, of course, but overall, Im not getting the best vibe here and I really want to give it a better rating, because those coffees are so good.
A must-visit in Calgary for cafe lovers. Beautiful location in the historic Simmons Building. Great place to sit and chat or study, an even better place to go for a walk along the Bow River.
Phil and Sebastians Simmons offers the most versatile coffee experience out of all its locations in Calgary. Well versed and friendly baristas. Great location for studying, and great options for food throughout the building. Beside the Bow river - Never disappointed here.
Delicious variety of coffee based drinks and some premium teas available too. It was fairly busy on a Saturday so be prepared to wait in line for a bit. Worth the wait for great coffee!
