Been going here for years to get my car washed. It's changed hands in management a few times and so has how you pay. The price you pay is on a per min basis but all in all a great place to wash your vehicle quickly or a deep down scrub.
The Big Bucket appears to be under new management. Instead of paying at each bay, the entire wash is changed to a timed ticketing system when you immediately enter the wash. 10 large bays and 4 truck bays (on another entrance area) with well lighted areas. There is also an automated touchless car wash if that is your preference. All the standard manual wash modes are available, plus vacuum, power dryer and wash brush. Always been happy with the equipment which is kept in good running order. Vacuums have excellent suction. Highly recommend this location which for the most part always has bays available.
I went here for a second time, against my best judgement. The best feature about this car wash is that even after 7 minutes of the rinse option, youre still getting soap! What a great bang for your buck!
no soap evident on "high pressure wash" setting with no offer for recompense by the person (from other posts I believe he was the owner) at the register - he merely shrugged off my concern; still $6 even after a hasty exit when realizing what was happening; left this Big Bucket location with my car marginally cleaner than when I entered so am unlikely to return unless desperate for a car wash close to home... **try Top Gear carwash in NE or the Centex on Centre Street N. for a better experience with your wash (I neither work with nor am affiliated with either of the companies mentioned)
No fiddling with coins is great- swipe your debit or credit card and wash. Pricing is good compared to other places- can do a thorough, efficient wash for less than $10.Udpdate June 2018:It appears Big Bucket is under new management and has greatly increased their pricing and abolished the old pay-at-the-wash station method for a time ticket. It used to be really cheap to wash here but now seems comparable to most other places. They told me $0.85/mi ute, the new wash king by Lamborghini is $1/minute.
