Grew up in the area, have always used them for my florist needs. I don't even live in Calgary anymore but when I need flowers this is my go to spot! So many years of great selection and arrangements. Keep up the great work!
Kim, Michelle, and the Deer Valley Florist team created the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnires, and centerpieces for my June 2018 wedding! They were great to deal with, providing many options to fit my budget, allowing me to supply my own vases (hello savings!), and delivering and setting up the centerpieces at my venue. I was indecisive throughout the process but they came through on a tight timeline with the most stunning arrangements. Nothing feels better than having perfect flowers show up on the morning of your wedding! I'd recommend Deer Valley Florist for any event flowers you need. I was initially going to get my flowers through Costco to save money but there is no way I would have been able to put together the arrangements they did. Many other florists have a minimum spend and require that they are the only ones to provide flowers for your wedding. Deer Valley Florist was flexible with no minimum spend and extra rules. They are punctual and true professionals!
I live abroad and ordered flowers for a loved one back home. I wanted them delivered on the date of the Birthday. The flowers did not arrive until 3 days later. This made me look like I forgot this special someones birthday. I was told it was the driver...I need to order flowers again today for another birthday, I will be using another company.
We decided to go to deer valley florist after reading reviews on Google. We thought we were going to have a good experience. But it turned into a very stressful situation.We were having a small wedding so we didn't have a big order. Although there was no minimum purchase, we were treated like last priority. They would reply to my emails a week later and ask me to wait since they're busy with another wedding. And once they would reply it seemed like they didn't even read my email!! We had to find another florist since I wasn't even sure I was going to have any flowers for my wedding which was very stressful since I thought we found our florist and stopped looking!! Also, the bouquet they put together as a sample was nothing like the picture I showed them. I'd suggest going somewhere else if you don't have a big order or if you want a unique bouquet.
Deer Valley Florist provided our wedding flowers - bouquets, etc and they were EXCEPTIONAL. They managed to perfectly capture my vision (from the snippets of dozens of photos I shared and interpreting my vague hand movements) and delivered gorgeous flowers that were beyond my expectations! They lasted weeks after the wedding and the staff was incredibly kind, easy to work with, accommodating, and flexible. Kim and her staff made our wedding extra special. Highly recommend!
