Very busy and still received amazing service. I ordered the chickpea dahl and it was one of the most amazing meals I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Everyone else at the table loved their meals as well. Prices are quite high but well worth the splurge! If you are looking for a night out with friends with a fun atmosphere I highly recommend. One of my new favorite restaurants.
Food just ok. Service was very disappointing. When asking about dietary restrictions there was an air of "really, you need to ask about that, the menu is the menu and that's the way we prepare it." Not at all a family environment. There are many other restaurants in Calgary at this price with better experiences. The whole restaurant had a vibe that had early success, and now are better than the customers and don't really need them anymore because they have received a few good reviews.
This was tough not to give 5 stars. The food is incredible. Exceeded my expectations. I was here about a year ago and its like I remembered. Scallops, potato rolls and steak were mouth watering good. I could have repeated the entire meal again in the same sitting it was so good. The service was 4 Stars. It wasnt bad, but I guess I expected 5 star service to go with such great food. Drinks were a little slow coming and starter salad came with the meal - we were so engaged in conversation we actually forgot about the starters until they showed up with our main course. Atmosphere - 3 Stars. Tables are way to close together. If you are unfortunate enough to be in certain areas of the restaurant it feels like you are having dinner with 8 other people. We asked to be moved into a booth, which they accommodated. I would go back for sure. Just need to be specific where you want to sit when you are booking he reservation.
Truly a top quality experience, service was excellent, and for the quality of food, it was served fairly fast for how busy this place was. Pictured is AAA tenderloin with Parmesan gnocchi, with peas and green beans. This steak was an amazing experience. So many flavours in this plate it is hard to describe. The steak was cooked to perfection, and was so tender could pull it apart with my fork. Super fresh and flavourful ingredients, every bite was delightful! Would recommend to everyone, and I hope I can go back soon!
Super tasty food and drink, really nice inside. If shortly before arriving you feel like you have driven into the roughest neighbourhood in Calgary youre in the right place. Has a handy cannabis shop over the road.
