I had dinner here on their No Menu Tuesday. There were three courses and a choice of three entrees. The quinoa salad and steak entree was delicious. Chocolate mousse was for dessert was also good. Portions were more than sufficient. The servers were knowledgeable in answering our questions and service was overall attentive. I would definitely like to revisit and try other items when in Calgary again.
Vero surprised me quite a bit. We went as a medium sized group for brunch and Ill have to say its probably one of my favourite spots now. The food is so great and looks beautiful. The service is quick and attentive. I would highly recommend trying this place as the brunch is much different than most of the places in Calgary.
Impressive location^3, quiet hide-away where you can find a cozy table and some chef chosen* food. Vegetarian options were limited on the day I went, which was difficult. I would recommend highly if you enjoy not having to decide your dinner choices or just love Kensington French and Italian food.Remember outside to inside dining is tricky so be on time to ensure you find the entrance.
If youre looking for a fine dining experience without the snooty attitude, or the big bill, this is the place to go. The food is unbelievable, never had anything short of amazing to eat here. The service is personable, friendly, and excellent every time. Brunch reservations is a huge deal as well.
Came on their no menu Tuesday , chefs tasting dinner 3 courses for $45. Very flavourful food! On the main course was house made tortellini stuffed with lemon and ricotta cheese and the sauce was lemon and white wine. BC prawns were also served with it. So so so tasty !! We had the wine pairing $30/ guest - 3 wines paired with each course which was spot on. This is the night to come. You dont need to think, just bring on the delicious food and tasty wine!!
