Absolutely FANTASTIC little spot!!! First time here for my partner's birthday, amazing does not begin to describe our experience. The service by Cody was impeccable! I eat a plant based diet and the chef's had no problem putting together a unique dish for me that wasn't even on the menu. Cody made sure our water was never low, finished plates were taken away and even had excellent knowledge about the menu. The hostess was a delight as well! I must say this is the first time I have been somewhere where I felt we were accomodated in every way possible. You guys definitely know what it takes to run a successful restaurant!!! We will 100% recommend and will be back. Thanks for everything tonight! Keep up the good work guys 10/10 !!!!
Lougheed Lunch offers great choices. Dave attentive but not hovering. Tap water in a bottle, funky touch. Easy to follow menu. First time here and happy original spot was closed for the day. Dropped in for lunch and lucky to get a table, will definitely make a reservation in the future. Bonus - you can carry on a conversation without raising your voice, I attribute that to the solid older building. Top Notch!
Absolutely my favourite restaurant in Canada. Upscale without being pretentious. Tried the blind tasting menu (with wine pairings) and was blown away. The thought and passion that went into each dish was a great treat. Each dish when brought out was thoroughly explain (where it was sourced from, why it was paired with other ingredients). The education of the staff and willingness to please left me speechless. Do yourself a favour and visit this place. Seriously.
We were out for a special evening and chose the Improv meal option. Chef designed plates paired with beautiful drink selections. Excellent service, incredible food. Definitely a recommend!
What a brilliant idea "No Menu Mondays" is. To have the very talented Chef Alex and awesome support team create decadent flavor combinations for the 3 or 5 course dinner was an absolute treat! I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to choosing my food so I was pleasantly surprised when every course was better than I could have chosen for myself. As a vegetarian the options for me were fantastic! The creativity and love poured into those dishes was divine. Chef Alex is truly an artist! The server was friendly charming and very attentive even though it was busy, which was refreshing. I'd highly recommend this place for people who love quality love made food. Thank you Workshop Kitchen for such a grand dining experience. Will be back for sure!!!
