Hands down one of the best pizza shops I've ever been to. The crust is thin and crisp, and there are not too many toppings to make it soggy. Their unique topping combinations are all great, and they still have the traditional cheese and pepperoni that everyone loves. Highly recommend the Signora Gaga, it won't disappoint. The owners are so friendly and helpful as well.
My friend and I stopped in Calgary the other day while road tripping across Canada looking for a really good local pizza place and we stumbled upon this yummy gem. Customer service was great and we felt very welcomed. The pizza was delicious and I cant rave enough about the cheese. As we were checking out, we had great conversation with the owners about traveling and they offered us a couple free chocolate treats that arent available in our country, it was extremely nice of them! If youre looking for good quality pizza at a fair price, Id highly recommend this place.
This place has the best pizza in Calgary! They are so friendly and they make the pizza really quickly too. I highly recommend pizzeria Gaga! Try to Mafiosa pizza, it's our favorite!
Seriously, guys. Seriously. If you are anywhere near Calgary, go here. It looks very unassuming; dont be fooled. Its a powerhouse landmark. Its a small little shop stuck in a corner of downtown. There are maybe two places to sit and eat inside, and the decor is snappy, Eastern European-influenced. Its clean and smells amazing. I am NOT kidding when I say this place has the BEST pizza. Honestly, it is my top 3 pizza experiences of ALL TIME. It was magical it was so good. The toppings are unique (no meat lovers pizza here) and the sauce is perfectnot too runny, not too thick. The price is comparable to other pizza placeseven those not nearly as good as this is. But what sets this place far above the pack is the customer service. The owners are a husband/wife team and when we were there, the wife was making the pizzas in the back and the husband was running the counter. As soon as we walked in, he gave my kids chocolate candy bars from Eastern Europe, and he entertained us with his commentary with other customers. But the kicker was when we went to pay for our dinner after a very long day driving in from Montana, our credit card did not work. I got on the phone to see what was going on, and the owner came up to us and said eat the food while its hot! The kids are hungry. Ive sold lots of pizza today. Go home and enjoy it. Next time youre in Calgary, come back again. Seriously. He GAVE us dinner. We ordered four pizzas! We were blown away by his kindness. I dont know any place in America where a restaurant would give food away to a foreign tourist because her credit card was glitching. So we already loved the pizza before we took a bite. And once we did eat it, we were forever hooked. This is one of those places that you dont forget and you make a special effort to return to. Go for the pizza, stay for the customer service. Amazing!
