I'm going it one star only cause of the fact that, the coffee itself was decent. The staff, not so great with their snooty attitude & poor customer service. The atmosphere was sub par. A cold, unwelcome feel when entering the cafe. I had high hopes ending in failure. For shame.
Nice and convenient environment. However for the price, I would expect a latte with much better quality. It looks and tastes like Safeway Starbucks or even worse ...
Vaguely enjoyable, nothing special. The decor and atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and there were an okay amount of vegetarian options. Food left something to be desired. The breakfast burrito was bland, and the staff seemed pretty uninterested in their jobs. Ive worked retail before, so I know that feel, but it would be nice to feel like serving me wasnt a hardship or afterthought. Not mad about this place at all, it just wouldnt be my first choice next time around.
Friendly place to have a coffee and study/read. Good location in relation to the University. Coffee was above average, but food was bad. Tried their special sandwich - turkey bacon club. Sounded good. Served with a very cold bun which was tought to eat and clearly was supposed to be grilled. I asked them to warm it up/grill it and they really didn't warm it up at all. Not really a big deal, but certainly don't go here for the food.
I love this location over the other one as it is less crowded and has a far more modern appeal. The lattes are fantastic and the food was even better. (I never got a chance to try the food at the other location due to how crowded it was) A wonderful place to go and write or spend an hour or two reading a book.
