For any potential buyers.Before you take into account all the negative reviews of this dealership in the last 24 hours, you should understand that the guy who started this frenzy did not post the whole story on his review. He traded in a car that still had an amount owing on it of over $17,000 which he knew full well, the car was not worth that so the dealer was willing to offer him $15,000 and he was supposed to pay the difference plus the amount left on the x5 after trade in. The sales guy screwed up the paper work so Instead of paying the full amount of $37,000 ish for the x5 he only paid $22,000. Hes a bank manager so theres no denying he knew there was a massive mistake but he said nothing and paid the amount and left with his x5. I didnt get a chance to read his review on here before he took it off but Im sure he left out some very important details.
Love this place. Ive been to Calgary Auto Connection a few times looking at vehicles and found the right one in January 2018. Frank (Sales) is polite and friendly, Muncie (Sales Manager) is extremely straightforward and trustworthy, and George (Finance Manager) is as hard-working as they come and notably competent in his role. I had a chance to speak with another employee (unsure if he was a mechanic or detailer) as well, and every single person was nothing but honest with me, providing facts rather than opinion. Ive never felt as though any of them were pressuring me to do one thing or another which says a lot since Im a young, petite, blonde female. Believe me when I say that Ive had my share of horrible experiences at many other dealerships, but the guys at Calgary Auto Connection only ever treated me respectfully. They also have a great sense of humour which goes a long way in what can be a stressful situation.I feel that their prices are competitive and that theyre willing to negotiate within reason. I would also suggest that folks get what they give, and the negative reviews on here are either family and friends of one disgruntled person or someone who received the experience that they initiated with their disrespectful attitude.The only minor issue I had was when I wanted them to consider my vehicle for a trade. The owner was abrupt and curt, and it was very apparent that I was an inconvenience in his day. My car had hail damage that I didnt see and he did, therefore I completely understand why he didnt want to take it on trade. He just didnt have the smile and easygoing nature that his employees had, which was a stark difference from what I was used to at that dealership.
Very straight forward staff. No smoke and mirrors VERY easy to deal with. I have a bought a couple vehicles from them now and have had ZERO issues. I would highly recommend these guys to any friends or family.
The best service possible George is awsom.... for once everything that they told me was respected and my car was ship to me and arrived in perfect condition !!!! The service and the quality of there product are A+....I would give this reference to my best friends....
