I was referred for Tinnitus , I had the test and was prescribed, a hearing aid. around 5500$. I searched online, and found out tinnitus has many causes, TMJ, Pineal gland, hearing loss ... just a few, I suspected pineal gland because I feel drowsy a lot during the day and because it is my first year of exposure to such a long day light in many years. I took Melatonin, and it was a hit from the first night. This clinic has a list of the doctors who refer patients to them, and when you are asked who referred you they mark the list! Sorry to say this but USA did corrupt the Canadian healthcare system. A LOT
Great overall experience. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous coming into your office for the 1st time, but, I'm still amazed at how comfortable you made me feel. Your staff treated me like family. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner Thank you for taking the time to explain all my options with my wife and I in great detail and backing up what you do with such great service. LOVE my new hearing aids! My family will forever be grateful for your kindness and caring ways as you go above and beyond, which seems to be extremely rare nowadays. E.C.
I have been working with this clinic for 5+ years since I lost most hearing in one ear in my late 20's. It was very distressing and after having navigated my way through the healthcare system over a couple of years waiting for specialist appointments etc only to realize their equipment is decades old and I got nowhere as to the cause. I went to the Hearing Loss Clinic, their equipment is state of the art and I was able to get an appointment right away. I did need a hearing aid, which was very expensive, but after some investigating there was coverage under both my husband and my work benefits which made the cost much more bearable. I have been able to get in to adjust settings at my convenience at no cost and they provide all batteries and services to the hearing aid while it is under its 3-year warranty. The staff is very friendly and professional and I recommend these guys to anyone who suspects they might have hearing loss. A hearing aid is not perfect, but it does restore some hearing, and most importantly keeps those receptors in your brain active and working. It is very sad to find yourself part of a group conversation, most of it unheard. Hearing loss creeps up on you. If you think you may need to get your hearing tested, I can think of no better place to start than here.
Really good experience
Professional, clean, and friendly. Went here for a quick hearing exam and was impressed with the service and professionalism.
