had a terrible experience with these yahoo's with a day old baby. I brought her in for a glucose test after some spitting up and fussy eating. this SHOULD have been a simple heel poke check and then done. INSTEAD ... WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT, AND with NO SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS INFECTION OF REDNESS OR FEVER , they performed a Staph test. which then was contaminated and then they put my child through he'll with multiple iv poke, incredible excruciating spinal pokes WHICH PUT MY CHILD AT RISK FOR BEING CONTAMINATED AND INFECTED WITH THE STAPH THEY ARE LOOKING FOR! and the cherry on top they administered anti biotics in emergency instead of waiting till we were admitted and once we were admitted the staff and doctors were amazing and the doctor apologized for anti biotics given to my BRAND NEW BABY, BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN COVER STAFF and will cause my baby further discomfort and difficulty by destroying positive bacteria and cam cause things such as diarrhea. She also apologized for the Staph test that never should have been taken in the first place and again WAS DONE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. this is incredibly serious. I have had positive experiences of course in this emergency but this was absurd. and you know what those doctors made money on our tax dollars every step of the way they can bill for every extra test and procedure. and they put my child through hell and in dangers way. next time you want a glucose test for a brand new Baby because you are worried and they come in with painful iv to take more blood say NO and make sure you just get a heel poke and don't get taken on a ride by these yahoo's like we did. my poor baby went through far too much unnessary suffering even the iv is more painful than a heel poke. And again know they in this emergency apparently they will do stuff without your knowledge or concent to be vigilant!
