Extremely rude staff. If you've been to a different hospital and your symptoms have progressed and you need to go back. They will basically treat you as an office decoration and not even look at you. Wait time was two hours. Was there until 3 a.m last person waiting and they took every single person in before me after that. I was sick with nausea, headaches, shortness of breath extreme chest pain, coughing until I was gasping for air and having double vision. But a person with wisdom tooth pain was sicker than I was?? They never did call me and I had to go home and hope nothing serious was wrong. The hospital itself is clean and nice but the staff need a tuning on mannerism and respect. Don't ever go to an admitting with Leila, she'll roll her eyes and basically tell you off if you try to speak with her.
This is a modern, clean and beautifully designed building. There is a Good Earth cafe, a market with ample seating that has a Tim Horton's, breakfast and hot food area, and many cold foods to choose from. There are some booths for larger parties and lots of smaller tables. The Directories are "touch screen" but there area also volunteers dressed in red shirts that are able to help you find where you are going. I was impressed with how much comfortable seating was included in the design. The store "Comfort Corner" has almost anything you can think of (clothes, toiletries, home accents, novelties) and is truly a "convenience store"!Parking is in two outside lots or underground. It cost us $5.75 for our morning appointment parking in the spacious lot under the building. Keep your ticket with you and pay as you exit the facility.
The Nurses Lara and Kacy were amazing and Dr Andrew. Informative always close by kept me calm. They truly live their jobs
Was just discharged from the ER at South Health Campus after my second pneumothorax within a year. In both cases, the staff, nurses, and doctors were so kind, caring, knowledge and attentive. My questions and concerns were always addressed. I had a more serious issue then most in the ER so I was seen almost immediately despite driving myself to the hospital. Additionally, the hospital itself is an amazing facility- very clean and modern.
The people here are cruel. The nurses just walked past my mother who was sobbing on the ground due to pain, pretending not to see. When we finally got the attention of one she made her get up and walk, due to the pain my mother quickly fell to the ground and I had to get up and catch her as the nurse stood there and the audacity to tell my mom to use her feet. It is the worth the drive to any hospital. This is the kind of place you would die in the waiting room. This is just one of many different experiences. Please please if you can go anywhere else, do it. Might save your life.
