I had some issues in the past with warranty/ protection plan with my engagement ring, but the last time I stopped into the store I was very impressed with the employee who was helping me. His name was Joe and he really went the extra mile for me to accommodate my needs. Michael Hill is lucky to have an employee who truly wants to see customers happy and strives to go above and beyond :-)
Went in one time to clean my engagement ring at this location, met the manager Andy. He was a really cool guy and we chatted a little and looked around for some wedding band options, but decided we were going to buy later.Second time I went there with my friends, a lady who works there kept side-eyeing us, giving us dirty looks. We are a young looking bunch, so we don't look like we have the money? So we should not be there? She kept giving us dirty looks throughout our whole time there, and it made us really uncomfortable. Then Andy came along and helped me with the wedding band for my fianc again. I decided to buy it, since it was a good time, and Andy even gave me a discount. He deserves 5 stars, however the lady made it one star less. She stopped giving me looks after I purchased the ring, because apparently I did have money to buy something.
Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help me. I felt very taken care of and never pressured or uncomfortable. I will definitely go back to this location. I was not treated like a business opportunity, but instead I received genuine recommendations and respect. Would definitely recommend!
This is store is the most worst location ever . I came here 3 weeks ago to get fix my broken ring . It takes 3 weeks and I don't recieve any call recieved what's going . So i decided to call them myself. And the manager here saying they can't fix my ring and try to help by me paying extra $100 to get a new one. I purchased proffesional care for this jewerly and he saying I still have to pay?!! I called Anderson location where I originally purchased the ring and spoke to the manager , She replace my ring without any cost coz according to her I have 12 months warranty with that . How can be possible that this chinook location said different and didn't even tell me about my 12 months warranty.? He is very unhelpful !! All they think is how to get the customer ripped off!!I'm a good blogger and I blog and make a reviews about this location !!!So everyone will know how bad is this michael hill chinook location is!They will take advantage of you, especially when you don't know any about your warranty rights !DONT BUY YOUR JEWERLY HERE!! If you get a problem with your purchase they will not help you!!!
When I was looking for a ring for my girlfriend. I went into the Chinook Mall location and was treated great and Joe Veltri went above and beyond to help me out. Great service!
