Checked in about an hour ago. Reception was great as usual - lady was welcoming and friendly. There was a welcome plate in the room with greeting card from GM (apparently new). The presentation was laughable - the plate appeared dirty and eaten from - there was a bag of nuts in between 1 apple and 1 strawberry. I brought this down to the front desk to inform them that I didn't want it. I was served by a gentleman this time - I found him to be somewhat pompous - not outright rude, but curt and not friendly. Same with valet - no smile, no greeting. ALL the valets we've seen over the years have been extremely welcoming - this is the first time that I've been made to feel that I'm not wanted here.
Was a beautiful event and we had a room that comfortably sat 400. The event was 5 hours long and I was extremely comfy in the plush chairs. The chairs were comfortable and didn't have arms and kept everyone of all shapes sizes and ages happy. There were many technical difficulties with the wireless mics, but all in all a great event!
I was so impressed with my stay at this hotel for one week during a company meeting.The rooms were very spacious and incredibly clean with nice views of the city.They also came with humidifiers which was a great touch that made a huge difference.The hotel didnt charge for extras like bottled water and had a decent gym with treadmills, yoga mats and dumbbell weights. The food and catering was excellent and diverse with tasty gluten free, dairy free and meat free options and very attentive wait staff. The meeting rooms were never too hot or too cold and the audio visual systems worked without a hitch. Overall very impressed with distance to restaurants and the airport and the service when staying at the hotel.
It was a very nice hotel. Got upgraded to the room with the prince island view which was a nice view of the river. Valet service was quick. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Can't find a fault worth noting from my stay.
This is a prime location in the heart of downtown. The customer service was great. We stayed in a large suite on the Sheraton Club Floor (15th floor) which had a beautiful view. The breakfast and happy hour time had a variety of food and snack choices. The room was clean spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
