Absolutely brutal experience. Went in for what I thought was going to be a repair. Scheduled an appointment. They ran late to see me, did a quick test and then told me that they couldn't do anything about it and to go to westworld computers for a repair. They also offered to replace my ipad for the cost of a new one.
Got my iPhone7 battery replaced here and tech didn't seal screen properly - phone was given back with corner sticking out of the phone's body. Then, they resealed and gave it back. After coming home I cleaned it with wet napkin and screen starts flickering. On the second visit there, they told me that I have water damage and proposed phone replacement for 50% discounted price. I spent couple of hours on the phone talking to Apple support and they finally agreed to mail my phone back to Apple and help with repair/replacement. After coming back home I noticed glue/sticky substance residue was coming out from under the screen, which again confirmed faulty repair. Definitely cannot recommend this location for any kind of repairs.. Hope my review will help others.
I booked a genius bar online and went there about 2 hours later. My old Mac Mini 2009 needed to be re installed. Genius was prepared as he read my notes. Everything took about half hour, my genius was professional and acknowledged. answered all my questions. Another great experience in this store.
I went to Apple Market Mall store on 25-Sep-2018 to return an iPhone XS I purchased online from Apple.ca. I had my 2 year old son with me when I visited the store. I checked-in with a girl named Lindsay at the front when I arrived there and she entered my name in her iPad. After 20 minutes wait for a simple return of brand-new iPhone, I noticed that the person who checked in right before me has been served long ago. I asked Lindsay why was that happening and how come the queue is not "First Come, First Serve". She responded by saying that because other people are purchasing stuff, they have a priority. I was shocked to hear that. Then I tried in vain to expedite my case because my 2 year old son was getting cranky & "hangry". She goes, "oh sorry, unfortunately I can't help you"; with a fake smile of course! (you know, rule#1: always deal with customer with a smile).Long story short, they will treat you like kings/queens when you come to buy new products; however, expect totally opposite treatment when you want returns, warranty or support services. They will outright discourage you and wear you out from doing that. They just want you to keep on buying new products every few months.
Sep 24 2018 - Monday A guy (old age) who was working at Apple Watch, was very rude. When I was checking 2 Apple Watch - different sizes, he took 1 watch to show other customer, that was unprofessional. He didnt know anything in detail about Apple Watch series 4.When he was standing with one customer, I asked one question because he wasnt doing anything at that time, then he bacame angry on me and telling me he is helping other customer and so more. That was really unprofessional and unacceptable at Apple store. Then I decided to go home and order online. I will never go to Apple market mall because of that guy.The 2 girls I talked, they are very nice and professional, so atleast something was good for me.
