I have had nothing but great service from this store. Mac, at the gun counter has been great with information about things. Ross the general manager is great to find who and what you need. But all the staff is very well trained and helpful. This place is the best for outdoor anything.
I had an issue with a product I purchased at the store. A manager named Aaron dealt with my query very professionally. Additionally an employee named Gerard was very attentive and proper. I enjoy going to this location and I like that its dog friendly. Another employee was real professional as well, his name was syd or something I dont remember. Thanks.
I took my Browning compound bow to get the draw string put back on. Sheldon took it to the bow press to press the bow and it wouldn't fit so he did the adjustments and there was about a quarter inch left until it fit. Sheldon removed one of the clamps on the side and slid it in but the outside corner would not go in so he grabbed a hammer and hit the clamp about 3 or 4 times and the limb broke. The manager Cody offered a 500 dollar settlement telling me that he was being generous and that was all I was getting. The bow is in mint shape and is worth a whole lot more to us considering the amount we purchased it for and sentimental value. My draw length is 32.5 and what they were offering was a Bear g2 cruiser that had a max draw lengh of 30. The lady that was helping me told me that it would not work so she asked the manager to call Cody, she then offered me the Diamond elite and it had a draw length of 31. I was told that there was nothing in their inventory that was longer than 31. Not true I found a Diamond archery Medalist that was 719 and she called Cody on it and he replied with " he will have to pay the difference on the item" I replied with no and I want your insurance info. 2 weeks and no resolution.I missed a weekend of hunting so choked.3 weeks now another week with no bow and corporate told me it is in the insurance companies hands now.
Bought my daughter a new fishing reel here. they put the line on and were very helpful and knowledgeable. A few of the guys helped give us pointers and tips which were great. I also shop here for lures and find them reasonably priced.
This place is awesome. If a had the money I would buy the whole store. I was buying fishing rods and gear for my whole family and got good, square advice from the codger in the fishing zone. While I shopped my buddy checked out a bunch of shotguns on the 'gun library'. There loads of sweet camping gear and outdoor cooking stuff. If you want to do anything outdoors and need gear, this is a great place to go.
