We had trouble with our tankless hot water system and Adam came out to see the problem. He provided us with our options without pressure to purchase a new product and did the initial visit for free, even though we are outside of Calgary. We chose to replace our nine-year old system and Adam came again to replace it. He was super informed, very clear when explaining. He worked within the time frame and quote he had given us. But the reason I am writing is the extra little things...or not so little...he noticed our furnace pipe was not properly attached so he glued it...he removed the mouldy drywall and hauled it away...he replaced the luggage we had moved out of the furnace room so he would have space to work. All with a smile and without having been asked to do so. Adam, thank you for your great work!! I am pleased that Pete The Plumber is investing in our youth and that they take pride in their work. We will call again, every time.
This review is for Pete the Plumber in Edmonton. We recently purchased an 18 year old house with original hot water tank and humidifier, and we wanted to replace both. I called and Nigel came out to complete the work. Nigel was beyond professional in both work and demeanor and it was very obvious he took immense pride in his job. Not only was he courteous, he explained everything he did and why he did it. He worked very efficiently and went above and beyond redirecting the duct work from the furnace to accommodate the new humidifier and updating all the old water lines, even though he could have just left the old outdated ducts and lines. I could not have been more impressed with Nigel, and would call him again without hesitation.
We recently called Pete the Plumber to have a repair done in our bathroom. We were told by another plumbing company that we had a cracked p trap. When Service man Nigel arrived, on time, we were very surprised and happy to hear that he did not see a crack and that no work was required. He graciously offered not to charge us for his visit and before he left he corrected a slow draining sink and showed us how to do it ourselves for next time. We were very impressed by the honesty and integrity demonstrated today. No hesitation in recommending this company.
My husband and I have renovated a few times now so we've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to service companies; And I have to say Pete the Plumber was just awesome to deal with for our hot water tank replacement. The office was polite and knowledgeable when I called for a quote and later to book the installation. The service guy was on-time, polite, knowledgeable and even gave me an excellent explanation of what he needed to do to bring our venting up to the new code. He was reasonably clean and made sure I knew the warranty information as well. I am very impressed with the overall experience and wouldn't hesitate to use Pete the Plumber again in the future.
